Silk production maintained its crucial status during Soviet times because of its vital economic and cultural contributions to Uzbekistan. The independent Uzbekistan initiated a complete reform of the silk industry to transform from a centrally managed system toward market-based operations after its 1991 independence. The silk sector has received limited scholarly investigation concerning its structural changes and technological advancements along with workforce patterns throughout its history. The research studies silk enterprise transformations in independent Uzbekistan through a lens of institutional changes and innovation development together with employment dynamics and international market entry. Research outcomes demonstrate that cluster implementation throughout 2017 to 2021 brought together production steps to achieve better productivity while worker numbers rose to 862,500. The sector added 862500 workers during the 2021 period. Two important silk producers named "Surkhan Silk" and the Kashkadarya regional centers reached outstanding cocoon production milestones. The findings show Uzbekistan stands alone as the Central Asian nation which manufactures both silk products and sericulture machinery for export markets. The innovative advancements advance both economic independence of nations and employment opportunities in rural areas and international market integration. Developing nations can adapt the cluster system together with state-funded institutional restructuring to transform their industries through proven methods.
