Abstract

The Sustainable Performance of the Accounting Environment: The Influence of Banking Risk Management on the sustainable performance of the accounting environment (environmental, social, and economic elements) among a sample of employees in Iraqi private banks. The research problem was how to find an appropriate and effective strategy for banking risk management to improve the sustainable performance of the accounting environment of the banks in the study sample. Two main hypotheses were developed to measure the level of correlation and influence by analyzing the relationship between these variables. The research relied on a descriptive analytical approach and was then analyzed using various statistical methodologies. Results were obtained using statistical programs such as SPSS.V.29 and Amos.V.28 to analyze the data and reach conclusions, the most notable of which was the existence of a significant correlation between banking risk management and the sustainable performance of the accounting environment. The relationship between the different dimensions also indicates that some types of risks, such as foreign currency risks, may have a greater impact on economic elements than liquidity risks.
