Abstract

The study sample consisted of( 400) male and female graduate students from scientific and humanities majors at the University of Al-Qadisiyah for the academic year 2024-2025, selected randomly. To achieve the study's objectives, an emotional integrity scale was constructed based on Solomon's theory, consisting of (28) items, and a perceived academic control scale was built based on Perry et al.'s theory, consisting of (24) items. The tools were then administered to the sample in order to validate the psychometric properties (such as reliability and validity). It was found that the sample was emotional intact and perceived controlled and there were no statistically significant differences in the emotional integrity by sex, major or academic level and between perceived academic control and emotional integrity. Additionally, the two variables are positively correlated. The recommendations and suggestions came from what the researcher based his findings on.
