Abstract

The use of digital tools and platforms to further diplomatic aims has increased the role of digital diplomacy in shaping international relations. Given its position in North Africa, Libya has seen a series of conflicts and political instability, making it an intriguing target for research in the field of digital diplomacy. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of diplomatic rapport in the realm of digital diplomacy as a means of maintaining friendly relations with other countries in the context of Libya. The shift from traditional diplomatic relations to digital diplomacy has led in substantial changes, particularly in crisis management and legitimation techniques. The current work employs a qualitative scientific research methodology. The study gathered primary data through personal interviews with a carefully selected group of people who have specialized knowledge on the subject. The findings of this inquiry were then presented in a detailed and descriptive manner. An inherent personal propensity drives the investigation of the essential aspects that contribute to Libyan involvement, as well as the subsequent synthesis of its political and regional ramifications at the local, regional, and international levels. To get a better knowledge of contemporary regional changes and their effects on state sovereignty, as well as to examine the outcomes and implications of military intervention for humanitarian purposes in the broader context of international relations.
