Abstract

This article examines the development of science during the II Renaissance in the Timurid period, focusing on the transformation of major cities into centers of knowledge and culture. The study highlights the establishment of Boysungur Academy in Herat and the growth of scientific research in both natural and social sciences. A key gap identified is the need for deeper exploration of the philosophical and scientific contributions of this era’s encyclopedic thinkers. The research aims to analyze these contributions from a scientific and philosophical perspective, using a historical analysis method. Findings reveal significant advancements in scientific thought and the formation of intellectual hubs. The study underscores the lasting impact of these developments on the region’s cultural and scientific legacy.
